Political Posters – For and Against: 2016 Election Season
As a comment on the 2016 Presidential Election, I was assigned to create two supporting and two against posters for the candidates with a group of three other graphic designers.
We hung our posters in the lobby of the College of Fine Arts at Boston University a few days before the election and received some good feedback and some bad. It was an enlightening experience to see the reactions of other students and faculty during this tense time in political history.
Sadly, they only hung for a single day and were torn down that night. But our statement had been made and so had the institutions about political content (even if it was both for and against the candidates equally).
